The Cowboy Channel (TCC) is the most popular western cowboy channel. It covers various western sports genres, including ProRodeo, bull riding, roping, reining, barrel racing, and western fashion and music. History
Originally known as the National Christian Network, it was launched in 1979. Eventually, it became Rural TV from 1988 through 2009, and then FamilyNet between 2009 and 2017). From 2017 to the present, it has been referred to as TCC. It now televises western and rodeo sporting events on cable television in the United States.
The Cowboy Channel
Previously known as FamilyNet, the Cowboy Channel was rebranded on 1st July 2017. Historically, RFD-TV has covered a lot of country sports and rodeo events, which is why Patrick Gottsch (who also owns RFD-TV) rebranded it as TCC. After that, it became an American cable or satellite television channel broadcasting western and rodeo sports. Much of the channel’s programming is focused on cowboy culture.

PRCA Rodeo
It’s the world’s largest rodeo organization, abbreviated as PRCA that stands for the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. This group primarily sanctions rodeo events in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. It is best known for organizing the annual NFR in the first week of December every year at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
The Cowboy Channel (Canadian TV channel):
It was founded in February 2020 by Ryan Kohler through Wild TV Inc. In addition to western sports, the channel broadcasts programs related to western fashion, western music, and movies. The Cowboy Channel Canada mainly shows bull riding, reining, team roping, and barrel racing videos.
