NFR Live is very famous, much like the Super Bowl Rodeo. The PRCA has been organizing this event annually since 1958. They established the national finals rodeo in order to determine a champion for the world, which includes a rodeo for the seven main events every year. NFR was first held in 1959 in Dallas, and then continued in the same city and venue through 1961. Between 1962 and 1964, NFR was hosted by Los Angeles. In 1965, the first event at State Fair Arena drew almost 47,027 fans. NFR then shifted to the Convention Center Myriad in 1984 and earned 8 million dollars in revenue.
